The only thing I don't like about my experience is that I didn't find out about this place sooner. So thankful for the space to finally feel safe after all of my hair war stories over the last few years. I hadnt had my natural hair done by a professional in over ten years. But I had become frustrated with mine & my daughters lack of moisture retention & manageability and knew I needed help. I came in requesting a steam treatment, deep condition, scalp detox, the works for both of us. Lynne evaluated our hair and determined we just needed really good trims. She got both of us together and gave us our first silk press. I rarely ever wear my hair straight but trusted her judgment and was not disappointed. I thoroughly enjoyed my visit and have already scheduled my next appointment.

I'm so happy with this salon! I contacted them when I needed another option while my regular hairdresser was on vacation. I made a new client appointment for 4/18 @ 10:30 a.m. for flat twist. The new client appointment typically comes with shampoo (twice), deep condition with hot towel, blow dry, trim (but I opted out) & style while consulting on hair. I was serviced by the owners mom Lenny who was so friendly and skilled. She's been a hairdresser for over 30 years and I could tell. She was so gentle and smooth throughout the whole process. It took about an hour and a half for the whole appointment; 40 mins for wash, 30 mins for style & 10 mins for dryer. Price wasn't the lowest I've ever paid BUT absolutely worth every penny. Looking forward to coming again in the future! Highly recommend

Love going here for my crotchet braids. It's a good experience each time. Aryis the owner is very professional and kind. The online booking system makes it easy to schedule and get in and out. The music is always on point and the extra massage thing to the head feels amazing. The products used are high quality and your first visit is educational in regards to proper hair care. The prices are reasonable and I don't get a crazy upcharge for having natural and thick hair.

My only gripe is that the owner has a habit of up charging without your knowledge! Instead of communicating with you that a certain Service will have an up charge, shell quietly scurry behind the computer and add on an extra $10-$40+ to the total. Then when its time to pay theyll give this outrageous price that you werent expecting. Thats not good business and I really wish she would stop. If my original service will cost a more than quoted, please be courteous and let the client know before hand.
What if we didnt have the extra money you were charging!? Shes done this on several occasions.

This salon is a hidden gem for black hair care. As a first time client, I was a little nervous about entering a new salon, however, the customer service was top-notch from the initial phone call in booking my appointment all the way through to checkout. The space was clean, staff was extremely friendly, and you could tell they were taking the necessary precautions for COVID (sanitizing, washing hands, temperature taking). My stylist, Kenadee, really listened to the vision I had for my sew-in and was able to make it happen. I have never laughed so much during a hair appointment. The staff are nothing but wonderful! They're always willing to accommodate short notice hair appointments (thank you).

I am natural and it feels so nice being able to walk in somewhere and they know exactly what they're doing. I can go in and tell Ayris what I would like and she ALWAYS delivers!

I usually get the twist designs and one time I got my hair braided into a design. I am very tender headed and I have never left in pain!
